Cardano Milestone Puts ADA Breakout Under Spotlight Maxwell Mutuma | usagoldmines.com

TLDR

  • Cardano marked nine years of development with 123.9 million transactions and 2,890 active stake pools.
  • ADA closed above the key $0.24 weekly resistance area, according to Valentis’ technical analysis.
  • Valentis identified potential price levels at $0.32, $0.50, $0.80, $1.20, and $3.10.
  • ADA would require an approximately 1,117% rise from $0.2547 to revisit its $3.10 record high.
  • Historical October data remains mixed, with ADA recording an average return of -0.65% and a median return of -6.95%.

Cardano entered October with renewed attention after the network marked nine years of development in September 2026. Market analyst Lana Valentis linked the milestone to ADA’s longer-term outlook. She cited 123.9 million transactions, 2,890 active stake pools, and 158 governance actions.

ADA also showed technical improvement after closing above the $0.24 resistance area on the weekly chart. Valentis viewed that move as a possible breakout, although Cardano still trades far below its September 2021 record price.

Cardano Breakout Brings New Price Levels Into Focus

Valentis listed $0.32, $0.50, $0.80, $1.20, and $3.10 as possible upside levels if ADA keeps building above $0.24. A recent ADA market report also tracked resistance near $0.26 as traders watched the recovery.

The $3.10 level matches ADA’s previous all-time high. From $0.2547, the token would need to rise about 1,117% to revisit that price. With 36.78 billion ADA circulating, that level would place its market value near $114 billion.

Network Data Meets a Difficult Market Record

Cardano recently found support around $0.23 to $0.25 after falling toward $0.14 earlier in 2026. The token then started recovering above a longer-term downtrend line. ADA gained about 4% in one day, 0.9% over seven days, and 3.91% month-to-date during the analysis.

Network progress does not automatically produce higher token prices. Adoption, usage, ecosystem activity, market demand, and wider crypto conditions can shape ADA’s direction. The recent Cardano adoption debate also followed questions about network growth and ADA’s market performance.

October History Adds Another Cardano Test

October has produced mixed results for ADA since launch. The token posted gains in 2017, 2019, and 2023, but recorded losses across six other Octobers. A recent Cardano fuel claims project adds another network development as traders assess adoption alongside price action.

Positive Octobers delivered gains of 40.4% in 2017, 6.63% in 2019, and 15.4% in 2023. Losses followed in 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024, and 2025. Those declines ranged from 6.65% to 24.5%. October has not produced a consistent direction for ADA across the full historical record available for ADA so far. Across its available October history, ADA has recorded an average return of negative 0.65%. The median return stands at negative 6.95%. Those figures describe past performance only and do not determine future returns. ADA’s next moves will depend on price structure, network use, demand, and wider market conditions.
