Private research University in Atlanta, Georgia has revealed it owns $15 million worth of Grayscale Mini Trust shares as of September 30.
The university made the revelations in a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing today. In terms of the number of shares, Emory holds 2.678 million shares in Grayscale Mini.
This reportedly becomes the first time a university admits and reports owning BTC, with crypto enthusists thinking this is “impressive” for a university that is five times smaller than Havard.
