Google Play is now offering Venmo as a payment option for purchasing things and subscribing to things. Users can utilize either their existing Venmo balance or linked payment method after the accounts have been linked.
Venmo joins PayPal in being one of the only 3rd-party payment platforms that Google Play supports. Beyond that, you’ve always needed a debit/credit card or Google Play credit.
To update your payment method, go to your payment methods in Google Play to link your Venmo account. I can confirm, the option is inside of Google Play settings already.
