The fun of yesterday may be over, but we are still in the early days of Pixel 11 pre-orders. Google is running heavy discounts on its Pixel 11 series phones, assuming you have something to trade-in. And not only that, they are also handing you up to $350 in credit or a free Pixel Watch 5. The Pixel 11 pre-orders are so much better than anything Samsung has done in recent launches.
For those with a Samsung or Apple device, Google is offering similar instant discount values that we typically would only find for a maker’s own phones. As example, both Samsung and Apple only offer top dollar if you trade-in a Samsung or Apple phone, with lower values for phones that aren’t their own.
Google isn’t doing that for the Pixel 11 launch. They really want people to switch over to a Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, or Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
Big instant Pixel 11 discounts for Samsung, Apple trades
Instead, Google will give you the full $1,000 instantly off if you trade a Galaxy Z Fold 7 and $700 for a Galaxy S26 Ultra. Older devices like the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S24 Ultra are still worth $600 and $500.
In the Apple world, an iPhone 17 Pro Max is worth $900, while an iPhone 16 Pro Max is worth $700. Even the almost 3-year old iPhone 15 Pro Max is still worth $590 from Google. Apple won’t even give you close to those values.
And again, for many customers on the Google Store, these trade-ins are instant discounts that come off of the price today. If Google says you get $900 for an iPhone 17 Pro Max, that discount comes off at checkout, today. You’ll have to ship that iPhone to Google once your new phone arrives and then they’ll confirm it is what you said it was.
Pixel Watch 5 for free or 50% off
As an added pre-order bonus, these deals for the Pixel 11 devices will hope you pick-up a new Pixel Watch 5 with your order.
As you walk through checkout of your new phone, you’ll see offers for the Pixel Watch 5 just before adding a Pixel 11 to cart. The offer varies depending on phone, but if you buy a Pixel 11 Pro or Pixel 11 Pro XL, Google will give you up to $250 off or a 50% off discount. If you buy a Pixel 11 Pro Fold, they’ll just give you a Pixel Watch 5 for free.
For those who don’t want a Pixel Watch 5, Google will also swap that promo for $200 or $350 in Google Store credit to buy cases and other Google devices.
