Margot Robbie dropped some information about the Ocean‘s prequel film during CinemaCon 2026, and it has us very intrigued. The film, which still doesn’t have an official title quite yet, will take place at the crown jewel of the Formula One circuit, the Monaco Grand Prix. It will focus on Danny Ocean’s parents back in 1962. And yes, this Ocean‘s prequel movie will star Robbie as well as Bradley Cooper, presumably as Danny’s mom and dad. As previously reported, Cooper will write and direct this next installment in the franchise.
“Before Danny Ocean ever stepped foot in Vegas, two masterminds taught him everything he knows — his parents,” Robbie said at CinemaCon. “You’ll see them in their prime, and in our new movie, pulling off an epic heist at the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix.”
