Marvel Studios is teasing us with something Chris Hemsworth. The studio took to Instagram this morning to showcase a director’s chair with the words “Chris Hemsworth” on the back. Otherwise, we only see a dark room and hear some strange atmospheric music. It’s a lot of sudden excitement for a Wednesday morning, but if it means Chris Hemsworth will return to the MCU, we are interested to hear more.
There’s no clues as to what exactly this MCU and Chris Hemsworth collaboration is at the moment. But you can check out the Instagram Live, here. Could this be an announcement that Hemsworth will return to the MCU for Thor 5? Or maybe that he will join the vast list of MCU heroes and actors announced for the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars and Doomsday. All we know is that a chair for Vanessa Kirby has now come onto the scene. Kirby, of course, plays Invisible Woman/Sue Storm in The Fantastic Four. Additionally, a chair for Anthony Mackie has entered the scene.
We guess it depends on just how long this Instagram Live runs for. We’ll let you know as soon as we do. In case you’ve been living under a tree, Chris Hemsworth is best known for his role as the MCU’s Thor. For some time, a question of whether Thor 5 would come to pass has been up in the air, but maybe it’s finally time.
