We cannot tell a lie. Nicholas Galitzine looks incredibly good as He-Man in Masters of the Universe‘s final trailer. Almost distractingly good. How are we supposed to focus on the action when that He-Man fit is more skin than cloth? These are good problems to have. But, in addition to the eye candy, the final Masters of the Universe trailer also gets us in our feelings. It’s beautifully nostalgic, reminding us of the journey that He-Man has taken to get the big screen and all the fun Easter eggs this new movie has in store for us. You can watch the final Masters of the Universe trailer below.
Mekaneck, Ram Man, Fisto, and Allan, we mean, Adam! They’re all there in the Masters of the Universe final trailer. As is the villainous Skeletor—and his live-action form is looking good. This adventure is one we can’t wait to go on. We didn’t quite know how a live-action Masters of the Universe movie would go. But Mattel and Amazon MGM Studios seem to have found the correct balance of throwback camp, dramatic stakes, and pure fun. The pure essence of He-Man seems to have been distilled into this movie. And we’re as excited as we could be.

The synopsis of Masters of the Universe, released along with its final trailer, shares, “In MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, Director Travis Knight brings the legendary franchise back to the big screen in this epic live-action adventure. After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.“

At the end of the day, director Travis Knight has made mostly bangers. So we’re glad to see him at the helm of this movie. Masters of the Universe seems to be shouting WE HAVE THE POWER… to make a good movie.
We’ll know for sure if this is a hit when Masters of the Universe releases in theaters on June 5, 2026.
