Owners of the new Galaxy Z8 series (Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, Z Flip 8) will notice a new menu section on their phones, a dedicated area for your phone’s “Warranty and care.”
From this new area, you can check your device’s warranty status, such as learning the remaining warranty period and Samsung Care+ eligibility and even see other devices’ status that are linked to the same Samsung account. Samsung says you can even run diagnostics from this section, to check things from batteries to sensors, with Bixby there to guide you in the process.

Should your device need service, you can book a repair from the Warranty and care section, as well as receive estimated repair costs should you want to shop it around. And again, it’s all under the same roof, which is quite useful.
This feature is available via One UI 9, so we suspect it could make its way to additional Galaxy devices down the road.
