Earlier in the week, got a first look at a device that should end up being the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra. This will be Samsung’s new top-tier device that’ll likely launch at the beginning of 2027. To end the week, we’re getting what may be the smaller version with a slightly different name and one missing feature.
The device we want to talk about today is apparently called the Galaxy S27 Pro.
Galaxy S27 Pro Specs, Features, Release Date
What on Earth is that? Well, it should be very similar to the Galaxy S27 Ultra, only in a smaller format. Think about it like the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL, only Samsung has decided (at least according to this report from @onleaks) they need to have different names for these two devices.
The dimensions for this thing drop in at 154.06 x 73.77 x 7.95mm, which also brings us a 6.6″ display. Unfortunately, there is no slot for an S Pen, so I guess “Ultra” means pen and “Pro” means sans pen.
But overall, the devices do look like siblings, with the same redesign, camera setup, and supposed-built in magnets for Qi2 support. Moving components up into a big top-heavy camera setup could be what Samsung needs to do to make room for those magnets. Please, be true.
And that’s it for this report. Everyone talking about Galaxy S27 Pro specs are just guessing and they know nothing just yet. We are months and months away from any of that information trickling out. For now, just take in the new design and tell us how much you love it. You do love it, right?
I should point out that there were rumors of Samsung doing this same thing last year and they never did. We even saw similar renders of a supposed Galaxy S26 Pro that just never materialized.
