Saying that this 2025 bull market has been tricky is an understatement. Memecoins took up too much space and attention. There was no breathing room for altcoins with so many coins around. Things started to look good with Trump entering the White House. However, two memecoins got rugged, and his tariffs dampened the mood again.
Still, there are altcoins that bounce back strong after each dip. These are conviction projects. So, here are four altcoins that will lead this next bull run charge.
Mantra ($OM)
Mantra ($OM) is one of the RWA powerhouses. It’s also been one of the steady top 3 altcoins in this sector. Recently, its price has seen a positive development. Whilst the rest of the market sees red, $OM saw an 11% increase over the last 7 days. Over the last year, it’s still up by 761%. A week ago, it dipped to $6, and now it’s up to $7 again. The downside of its tokenomics is the infinite supply.
There are no direct reasons for the current price surge. However, today it emerged that their airdrop is once more delayed. There was also a sybil investigation. This out ruled 123,195 out of 217,351 addresses. That’s 56% of all eligible wallets.

On the other hand, institutions are still full on into Mantra. So, you may want to wait a bit and see how the $OM price develops. Currently, below $6 would be a good entry point.
Sui Network ($SUI)
Sui Network ($SUI) is a project that has a steady place in the spotlight. And for all the right reasons. However, like most other coins, its current price development is lacking. Nonetheless, $SUI is one of the strongest bounce back coins during this current cycle. So, consider the current $2.34 price tag as a great entry point.
Some big news is that Canary Capital applied for a first ever $SUI spot ETF. This confirms more institutional interest. Sui’s TVL also stayed steadily above $1 billion, with a $2 billion peak in January. In this light, we can also see the partnership with Trump’s World Liberty Financial.

Another interesting development is the introduction of Lombardi $BTC ($LBTC) to Sui. Lombardi is a main player in Bitcoin DeFi or BTCfi. This unlocks liquidity for $BTC holders on Sui, without having to sell their $BTC. $LBTC is a liquid staking token.

Its $WAL token launch is also coming during this month. This comes with its airdrop. One of Sui’s co-founders called it one of the largest airdrops in crypto history. This started a big price speculation among the airdrop receivers. The current airdrop has a 4% allocation from the total token supply of 5 billion $WAL. This leaves 6% for further airdrops, at a later stage.

Cardano will become a hybrid layer 2 on Bitcoin. This allows $BTC liquidity to flow into Cardano’s DeFi. Both projects use a similar transaction system, named UTXO. So, it won’t be difficult to hook Cardano up with the Bitcoin network.

Ripple ($XRP)
Ripple ($XRP) is another legacy coin that currently has the wind in its sails. $XRP went from 54 cents in November 2024 to $3.21 in January 2025. Among others, the end of the long-lasting SEC lawsuit is a main part of Ripple’s revival.
In the current market dip, $XRP held up fairly well with a $2.31 price. Whales are also still buying $XRP. There’s even speculation of a $15 $XRP price. Its CEO also remains in the spotlight. Garlinghouse was one of the invitees during the recent White House Crypto Summit. Lots of good things are currently happening at Ripple.
