Anker has new charging devices out this week, one of which looks pretty great, assuming you don’t mind parting ways with $88. The new Anker MagGo 2 Pro battery pack has big time speeds, a built-in kickstand, is Qi2.2 certified, and will even show some info on a neat little screen.
This is a 10,000mAh battery pack, which isn’t uncommon by any means. However, Anker has added several upgrades to this new model, with full Qi2.2 support that brings 25W wireless charging speeds. While that might sound terrifying for a battery pack, since so many are known to get extremely hot while in use, this thing has a cooling system to try and prevent that.
The Anker MagGo 2 Pro has a built-in “Turbo-Powered fan” to dissipate heat. That feature alone seems like it might make this worth buying.
For other features, you can wired charge this to your phone at 20W, recharge the battery at 45W, and view some info as it charges with a little built-in screen. It can show temperature, power state, the mode it’s in (Cool or Silent), and more.
This little guy is up for pre-order now through Anker’s site at $87.99. They claim this is a discounted price, but Anker basically always lies about things being on sale. They are tossing in a free backpack with purchase, though.
