Godzilla is back once again to stomp around and cause chaos, and we love to see it! TOHO and GKIDS gave us a taste of what to expect earlier this year with a teaser for Godzilla Minus Zero, and now we have a very cool full trailer for this film. It appears much larger than the average trailer, showing fans exactly the epic scale that they can expect when they check it out in IMAX. It’s big, bold, beautiful, and surely set to be another major hit, just like Godzilla Minus One was in 2023.
This film takes place two years after its predecessor, bringing the action to 1949. We are back with the Shikishima family as they face yet another disastrous round. And, it seems that King Ghidorah will rear all three of his heads in Godzilla Minus Zero, based on the roar we heard.
Godzilla Minus Zero’s trailer is the perfect tee up for the film’s festival debut on September 26 at the New York Film Festival. Here’s an ominous synopsis for a little more clarity:
War reduced Japan to zero, and Godzilla plunged it into minus. Two years have passed since then, and the country has faced agonizing struggles to achieve recovery and finally reclaim its daily life.
Just as humanity managed to cling to a hard-won peace, a new threat strikes, crushing hope in an instant.

What Is the Release Date for Godzilla Minus Zero?
That festival debut is when we will get our first round of audience reactions and reviews to get fans hyped up for its release. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait too long to see Godzilla Minus Zero, because it will wreak havoc in US theaters on November 6.
