Bumble is in advanced talks to go private in a deal worth about $1 billion, Reuters reported on Monday, October 12, 2026. Ithaca Holdings is the prospective buyer. The talks come as Bumble tries to win back users with AI. Neither company has confirmed a deal. Both declined to comment. Still, Bumble shares surged roughly 50% to $3.80 that Monday, their biggest one-day percentage gain on record. A $1 billion price tag for a $14 billion debut Founded by Whitney Wolfe Herd in 2014, Bumble went public in 2021 at a valuation of about $14 billion. Five years later, the proposed price tells a very different story. Paolo Pescatore, an analyst for PP Foresight, said the potential agreement is proof of Bumble’s difficulties, adding that: Going private looks less like a strategic masterstroke and more like an admission that Bumble’s current strategy is failing. The numbers a buyer would inherit Bumble’s Q2 results indicate the reasons for the investors’ concerns. Its revenue declined by 15.2% year-over-year to $210.5 million. The number of paying users also dropped by 16.4% to 3.2 million. Bumble reported a net loss of $127.9 million of which $169.3 million were impairment charges, even though the adjusted EBITDA represented $72.9 million. The slide started earlier. In 2025, the company registered a near 10% drop in revenue that amounted to approximately $966 million, while its paying user base declined by more than 11% to approximately 3.7 million. Bumble Revenue and Paying Users Decline in 2025 and Q2 2026 Industry fatigue, or a Bumble problem Bumble’s competitor, Match Group, appears to be doing better as revenue fell only 1% to $853 million in the second quarter. Meanwhile, net income increased by 36% to $171 million. Tinder also showed signs of improvement. Daily active users dropped by only 4% year-on-year, which was the smallest decline in the last 10 quarters. Hinge’s revenue has increased by 22%. Match aims to bring Hinge’s annual revenue to $1 billion by 2027. Dating-app fatigue remains a challenge. But Match’s results suggest Bumble’s issues range beyond just the users getting bored with swiping. Bumble vs Match Group Q2 2026: Revenue, Profit and User Trends Can AI pull users back, or push them away Bumble hopes its AI-led Bumble 2.0 can change that. The redesign brings richer, chapter-style profiles and the possibility of swipe-free dating. Its March unveiling helped send shares up more than 40%. Wolfe Herd had earlier floated AI dating concierges, as Cryptopolitan reported. Whether users want that help is less clear. A peer-reviewed study suggests confidence in algorithms can encourage AI dating adoption. Yet an SSRN working paper reported 54% fewer usage minutes and 62% fewer app openings among the AI adopters studied. Those findings do not represent all daters. At the same time, less expensive AI will make companion chatbots more attractive than dating apps. However, the use of these chatbots raises privacy and security issues, as noted by the Congressional Research Service. The opportunity remains substantial: Grand View Research estimates a $10.7 billion global dating-app market in 2026, reaching $17.9 billion by 2033. The challenge is converting AI features into users who stay, pay, and trust the platform Micah Abiodun | usagoldmines.com

Rollblock’s Meteoric Rise: Could This Presale Altcoin Eclipse Solana, Cardano, and Bitcoin in 2025? Cryptopolitan Media | usagoldmines.com

Rollblock (RBLK) looks set to astonish the crypto gaming world this year and recently recorded phenomenal 600% growth in December. Here’s why this gaming powerhouse is likely to explode up to 50x in 2025, leaping ahead of large caps such as Solana, Cardano, and Bitcoin in its very first bull run.

Rollblock (RBLK) Takes On The Big Gaming Players With Blockchain Advantage

Make no mistake – Rollblock (RBLK) is on a mission to return much-needed levels of trust and transparency to the $500 billion gaming sector. Rollblock inscribes every single user transaction onto the Ethereum blockchain, ending years of bet manipulation at a stroke. Now Rollblock gamers can verify for themselves that no bid fixing has taken place thanks to the security of blockchain technology.

Rollblock has a broad platform featuring more than 7,000 games of all descriptions. From poker to roulette and scores of slot machines, Rollblock has something for everyone. Each gaming experience is powered by immersive AI tech and features exciting live dealer modes to foster a strong sense of community and belonging. This has led the Rollblock platform to see an astonishing 600% growth in December, with new signups through the roof.

Priced at just $0.052, $RBLK tokens are being snapped up as holders can enjoy exclusive benefits and staking rewards of up to 30%. A unique revenue-sharing mechanism means that up to 30% of the platform’s profits are used to buy up RBLK, before 60% of these tokens are burned forever from the supply. The remaining 40% funds attractive staking revenue, meaning that Rollblock winnings will likely never be sold on the market.

Solana (SOL) Gains 6% And Could Rally To $1000

Solana has reached $241 today after a 6% pump in the last 24 hours, although it slightly pulled back by 2% to $237. Solana is looking extremely bullish here after being chosen last week for the launch of Donald Trump’s memecoin. This caused Solana to carry over 75% of all crypto traffic over a whole weekend as masses of first-time investors downloaded the Phantom wallet and loaded up on Solana.

With continued dominance across multiple crypto niches, Solana could easily 4x from here in 2025 to arrive at a four-figure price tag.

Cardano (ADA) Gains On Plomin Pump

Cardano has gained 6.2% today, before a small 1% decline, rising to battle resistance at $1 once again. Cardano has struggled with this price point for some weeks now, and a huge swell in 24-hour trading volume could make the difference this time around. More than $854 million of Cardano changed hands on exchanges in the last 24 hours – a 27% increase.

Cardano finally activated the long-awaited Plomin hard fork, moving the Cardano chain one step closer to full community governance. It will establish a voting system for Cardano holders so that anyone in control of a wallet containing Cardano can vote on changes to the protocol, treasury withdrawals, and the blockchain’s future. Cardano could well hit $5 in 2025 if adoption continues to rise.

Bitcoin (BTC) Seeing State-Level Game Theory Playing Out

Bitcoin has reclaimed the $106K level just days after dipping below $100K to bounce from support at $98.7K. Recently, the state of Illinois took a big step toward integrating Bitcoin into its financial framework. This would establish a state-run Bitcoin reserve and commit the treasury to holding the Bitcoin investment for a minimum of five years.

In recent days, Texas and New York have also joined the growing trend of state Bitcoin treasury applications. This could kick off a state-level Bitcoin FOMO that could push Bitcoin up to $250K in 2025.

The FOMO For Rollblock Hasn’t Even Begun

Rollblock (RBLK) has an advantage over these legacy altcoins as Solana, Cardano, and Bitcoin have already rallied massively to attain multibillion-dollar market caps. In contrast, Rollblock is still a fledgling upstart, but that is likely to change in 2025, and experts predict an astonishing 50x repricing that could see RBLK hit a dollar this year.
