At Universal’s annual Halloween Horror Nights actress Inde Navarrette met her Obsession character look-alike “Freaky Nikki.” Fans couldn’t believe the similarity between the two, when the event shared the picture on Instagram.
While Obsession doesn’t have a standalone haunted house, guests can meet “Freaky Nikki” after hours The Horror Nights character is dressed as the final scene in the movie, wearing a blood-soaked black dress and boots. If you wish to scream, you can find her towards the Upper Lot of the park near The Secret Life of Pets.
To prepare for your visit with Nikki visit the official horror nights Instagram, to find the secret code word. When you tell Nikki the secret code you can win a “One Wish Willow” card while supplies last.
Obsessed with Obsession? You can also purchase a limited-edition chocolate “One Wish Churro” at the park. The special treat is $9 and comes in red and white packaging. Still obsessed:? You can also by exclusive merch items around the park
While there have been mixed opinions on Reddit about why there’s no house, the intention was to make “ Freaky Nikki” interactive with guests. This choice leans into the movie’s psychological slow-burn structure. Both Navarrette and Obsession director Curry Barker are in support of the theme park’s decision.
This year there’s an attraction and haunted house for everyone! Academy Award winning feature, Sinners, has a haunted house replicating the juke joint from the movie. And in honor of Stranger Things fifth and final season there’s a house inspired by the “Upside Down” featuring Vecna.
I would love to see both attractions, but I made a promise that I would never put myself through the scare of Horror Nights again. Prepare for chainsaws, taps on the shoulder and screams in your face.
However, the memories from Horror Nights are some of the best laughs of my life so I encourage everyone to attend at least once. The special event runs now until November 1, purchase your tickets here before a monster grabs them first.
