One of them is Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu, a stop-motion animated series that will arrive on the streaming service in 2027. But the small screen isn’t the only place that you will be able to catch ‘em all. Pokémon is returning to the big screen with Pokémon: Wild Card, an anime film with a teaser trailer that delivers big trading card game energy.
In the clip, we meet a trading card player as well as a ghastly looking Pokémon named Mimikyu. The ghost and fairy types of Pokémon were introduced in the seventh generation games of the Pokémon franchise. Mimikyu sketchily looks like Pikachu, who is undoubtedly the face of the Pokémon franchise.
